Bernard Toh
Structural Engineer

Daniel is an Electrical and Electronics graduate from the University of Canterbury. With a Masters in Engineering Management and Project Management PMI skills, he enjoys a challenge and strives to deliver for the client. 

 

With over 20 years of professional experience in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, he takes a grassroots approach to design and project delivery. Always on the looks out for new ideas and innovations to give clients an edge in their projects.

Maria Morait
Structural Technician

Maria has more than 10 years of experience as an engineering technician in the areas of Structural and Architectural (BIM) including foundation and structural design. She excels in carrying out site dimensional survey of existing buildings and structures including floor levels & verticality surveys. She has worked in countries including Romania and New Zealand.

Bernard is a Senior Structural & Ground investigation Engineer spanning more than 25 years of professional experience both internationally and locally.  He has extensive experience with civil engineering in complex large scale infrastructure and industrial  projects, e.g. tunnels for Delhi Metro, KL International Airport, various underpass and tunnels in Singapore.

 

Bernard is also accredited as a geotechnical assessor by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). In his professional career, he has worked in countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and New Zealand. With this international experience, he is able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. 


He has been actively involved with advising and helping government agencies and councils in carrying out assessments of seismic performance of buildings all over New Zealand and in Indonesia under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). His current passion is to help cities of the world build resilience against disasters caused by floods, earthquakes and tsunamis.

Jonathan Vaz
Graduate Engineer

Jonathan is a Mechatronics and Economics graduate from the University of Canterbury. He is a quick learner for someone that has completed double degrees (Economics & Mechatronics) from the university. Always on the lookout for a challenge and finding new innovative solutions for clients.
